Grow Old Along With Me: Kristie & Lee's Victorian-Inspired Wedding
Time is definitely fleet of foot! It doesn't seem that long ago I did Kristie and Lee's engagement shoot on the hottest day of the summer in Greenwich Village. (But really, you never would have known it to look at the two of them. Cooler than an igloo in an ice storm! They looked fabulous!) On October 22nd I had the pleasure of shooting their Victorian-inspired wedding. Kristie is on the cutting edge of things, so this Victorian theme wedding happened waaaayyyy before Bella and Edward"s. My Second Shooter, Craig Williston of Craig Williston Photography, and I were honored that we were able to capture this moment in time. Congratulations, Kristie and Lee!
Kristie and her Bridesmaids got ready at The Hillard House in Wilkes Barre, PA (Click on the name to find out the history):
Kristie then left to meet her Groom, Lee, who was getting ready just up the street from her at The Frederick Stegmaier Mansion: (Click on the name to find out the history):
Kristie and Lee saw each other for the first time on the front porch:
My Second Shooter, Craig Williston of Craig Williston Photography took these beautiful images from his vantage point on the front lawn of the Stegmaier Mansion:
Craig also shot these beautiful images of Kristie with Officiant Fr. Nash of St. Faustina Catholic Church in Nanticoke, PA and of the new Mr. & Mrs:
Kristie and Lee had their reception at The Colonade in Scranton, PA. A stately and gorgeous Victorian mansion, I couldn't think of a more beautiful place to celebrate:
(I love this shot above Craig took of the placeholders, especially the one with the particularly rebellious pachyderm marching to the beat of its own drummer. :-) )
Congratulations, Kristie and Lee! May you grow old together and have many happy years as you live the words of the immortal saying, "grow old along with me; the best of life is yet to be!"
